A Note from our Founder and Presiding Bishop:

doctor sarkela ncu founderBeloved Bishops, Pastors, Directors, Ministers, Ministry / Church Members and Students: Greetings in the name of Jesus, our living Savior and loving Lord…

It is so good to be communicating to each of you again this month. I am staying very busy establishing new Churches and independent NCU educational branches worldwide. We have expanded the educational outreach of Northwestern Christian University in Asia, under the leadership of Senior Bishop of Asia:; Dr. Seth Lagunda and Senior Bishop of the Philippines: Dr. Teodoro Garvida. Over the years since 2007, I have visited Asia and we have been blessed to meet with our leaders there. We were also honored to have a private meeting with Philippine President; Gloria Arroyo in 2009, at the Malacañang Palace in Manila, home of the President. The meeting was covered by press and television and pictures are posted on our ministry websites. By the Grace of our Lord Jesus, we have established 380 churches which have affiliated with the Worldwide Church of Jesus Christ in the Philippines under Senior Bishops; Dr. Teodoro Garvida and Dr. Seth Lagunda, since 2007.

By our Lord’s Grace, today we have thousands of churches and independent NCU and NTS educational branches which are affiliated with our Worldwide Church of Jesus Christ and NTS Seminary and NCU University educational ministries in the USA. Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Hundreds of NTS and NCU educational branches are being established at our affiliated churches worldwide. Special appreciation is deserved by our Vice President and Senior Bishop of Pakistan, Dr. Jefferson Ghauri who have been instrumental in planting hundreds of churches in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Dr. Samuel Galloza our NCU/ NTS President is managing the USA online NTS and NCU educational ministry responsibilities including both the English and Spanish Seminaries and all of the administrative duties involved with our large online educational ministries. I will continue to focus on development of our WCJC Church and NTS / NCU educational ministries as well as our Worldwide evangelism and discipleship ministries. Many ministries have joined us and chartered new Churches in affiliation with our Worldwide Church of Jesus Christ and also added to the increase of our large NTS / NCU branch network worldwide. I will continue to work with our Senior Bishops, Bishops, Pastors, Ministers and Missionaries around the world as we focus on growth and development.
Please feel free to contact me whenever a need arises for ministry development, communications, or simply for fellowship as I remain not just a Pastor for our Pastors, but more importantly, your brother in Christ Jesus.
Please feel free to e-mail us anytime from the USA at: or  from Asia and Africa at:

In Obedience to our Lord’s Great Commission,

Press Release:  PGMA receives honorary award from Christian bishops

The award was presented by the Christian Alliance Ministries Worldwide, led by Northwestern Christian University USA, Presiding Bishop; Howard Sarkela, Bishop Teodoro Garvida, Bishop Seth Lagunda, and Secretary General Ma. Isabel Tobias at the Music Room of Malacañang.

Bishop Howard Sarkela lauded the President’s moral recovery program and values transformation policy in the Philippines. Initially an official letter was given followed by the award of a honorary Ph.D. degree from NCU of the United States.

“We came here to bless the President and to show appreciation for Executive Orders 713 and 714 concerning the improvement of moral values in the Philippines,” he said.

Both Executive Order’s were signed by the President last year. EO 713 was created to strengthen the authority of the Presidential Council on Values Formation towards the effective pursuit of a just and moral society in the country.  EO 714 was signed to enhance the government’s institutional mechanism for interfaith activities.

Former President Arroyo believes that interfaith initiatives are crucial to the promotion of peace, cooperation and amity within and outside the country, as well as the development of moral, spiritual and intellectual capacities for the upholding and enhancement of human dignity.

The visiting bishops each prayed for President Arroyo. Bishop; Sarkela prayed in English and asked the Almighty to protect her. Garvida, who is from Mindoro, prayed in Tagalog, while Lagunda prayed in Cebuano.
